ABOUT US
Caring for our mental health is necessary. It's empowering. But due to societal stigmas surrounding mental health and a lack of accessible resources about it for all communities, not everyone is able to care for their mental health. We're here to change that. We're making mental wellness accessible for all through three pivotal pillars:

Empowerment Hub Writer
My name is Daphne Camacho, I'm a Mexican-American high school student who currently resides in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about mental health issues and how to release the stigma around them. I am also passionate about environmental issues, political issues, and civil/equal rights, just to list a few things.
Hi there, nice to meet you! I’m a writer for the Empowerment Hub who’s passions lie in raising mental health awareness (especially in the Asian American culture!) and breaking down barriers that are present in the beauty standards today along with body image. I’m also an undergrad student studying Clinical Psychology at George Mason University and I recently started as a signed model in New York City about 8 months ago. Throughout my brief journey, I’ve already encountered many issues in the beauty standards such as eating disorders and the marginalization of body sizes through the fashion industry, which is an important discussion to have in today’s society. I’ve also had my fair share of mental and emotional struggles as well so my goal is to provide a safe space where people will feel at home and at comfort knowing that they’re not alone.
